Using a VPN with WoW can let you log in as if you are somewhere that it's blocked, like school WiFi, or connect to a more reliable server for speed and stability. It's easy to use and has a decent network of fast servers.
You can see that through quite good MoP population retention, currently at 1,5k. But because they are fist ones, they tend to get a lot of popularity and eventually people stay, because they don't feel like starting over somewhere else. Like MonsterWoW beat Firestorm to world quests in Legion by considerable amount of time, despite Firestorm realm being older. But that quick first release usually quickly fades out when server who work harder on scripting and stuff come out. Like their WoD server was literally first one, starting as Ashran. Only thing Firestorm is great at was to deliver first private servers. RES users: r/wowservers is night mode compatibleĭue to poor scripting and bugfixing. No liability is taken for any consequences that may result in being involved with any 3rd party/independently operated websites or emulated servers.
